Compensation Fund

1. Claim for Occupational Injuries or DiseasesIf you’re injured or contract a disease at work, you can claim compensation through the Compensation Fund. Your employer must report the incident. Submit medical reports, claim forms, and supporting documents to the Department of Employment and Labour.
2. Report an Occupational Disease for CompensationWorkers who contract diseases due to workplace exposure (e.g., TB, hearing loss, asbestosis) must report it via their employer. The employer completes a W.CL.1 form and submits medical documentation to the Compensation Commissioner.
3. Report an Occupational Injury for CompensationIn case of a workplace accident or injury, the employer must report it within 7 days. Employees receive medical care and may claim compensation. Required forms include W.CL.2 and the first medical report, submitted to the Compensation Fund.
