The Premier of the Northern Cape, Ms Sylvia Lucas, implores the people of the Northern Cape especially the youth to come out in their numbers to register to vote in the 2014 General Elections. All those that are 18 years old and above must register on the 08 -09 February as these are the last days set aside for voter registration.
It is our responsibility as loyal citizens to help move our country forward towards the achievement of a non racial, non sexist, democratic and prosperous South Africa. Exercising your right in the elections is very important because it allows you to participate in the affairs of government.
It is important that the voice of the electorate be heard when deciding on the needs of the community. The participation of every citizen will enhance development of our society and expand access to basic services to all our communities.
