The meeting had at its core the continuation and strengthening of the partnership between the Provincial Government and the University. A solid foundation of mutual respect and cooperation was laid by Professor Balim, the former Vice Chancellor who retired at the end of the 2019 academic year. The collective also resolved to ensure a safe environment for learning and teaching is created amid the COVID19 pandemic, should the academic year resume.
Premier Saul welcomed Professor Crouch to the Province and pledged his support for the role that the Vice Chancellor will play in helping to build and develop the Province.
