This follows the granting of the Nuclear Installation Licence (NIL-43) by the National Nuclear Regulator. This marks a major milestone for safe domestic radioactive waste management.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family: &quot;Times New Roman&quot;; font-size: medium;\">Vaalputs Radioactive Waste Disposal Facility,located in the Northern Cape is the only radioactive waste disposal facility on the Continent.
