The Honorable Premier of the Northern Cape, Ms Hazel Jenkins and the MEC of Health in province, Mr Mxolisi Sokatsha, hereby invites all media to the inaugural Provincial STOP TB INDABA under the theme: “Working together to fight TB”.

The fight against TB and other diseases like, HIV, AIDS and STI cannot be the sole responsibility of the government. Key stakeholders and partners are needed to strengthen the efforts we as a country and a province have made to combat TB. The fight against TB is the responsibility of us all. In this light the platform for a STOP TB INDABA has been created to develop goal specific plans and programmes to address TB in the Northern Cape. The INDABA will comprise of a formal programme, a scientific session and a work session with commissions.
