The International Nurses Day is celebrated internationally on the 12th May every year since 1974 in remembrance of the modern nursing pioneer, Florence Nightingale.

The celebration will honor nurses around the province for the remarkable strides they have done in pursuit of our vision “Health Excellence for All”.
This year’s celebration will be held under the theme: “Closing the Gap: From Evidence to Action”- specifically meant to summon and empower nurses to conduct research, identify and interpret evidence which will be useful to achieving the healthcare objectives.
