The Northern Cape Provincial Government joined millions across the country in commemorating and celebrating Heritage Day. The day was celebrated under the theme, ‘Reimagining our Heritage Institutions for a new era’. The theme emphasises the importance of leveraging heritage as a foundation for building a dynamic, socially responsive, technologically innovative and economically inclusive future.
In his address Premier Saul encouraged community members to not allow for divisions based on race and culture. Premier Saul further encouraged community members to work together with Government to preserve our heritage.
