The MEC responsible for Health in the Northern Cape, Mr Maruping Lekwene officially opened the highly anticipated Kuruman Forensic Mortuary at Kuruman Hospital, Ga-Segonyana Local Municipality. In attendance was the HOD for Health in the province, Mr Mxolisi Mlatha, Mayor of Ga-Segonyana Local Municipality, Cllr Neo Masegela, as well as senior management in the department. As part of the Department’s vision of a modern health system delivering quality care to a growing province, the modernised facility will be servicing the greater Ga-Segonyana area with a specialised mortuary providing forensic pathology services.
