Ms. L Mogorosi shared the purpose of the day and the intricacies of the Shova Kalula project with the learners and community members in attendance. &ldquo;The Shova Kalula project was implemented in the year of 2001 with the aim of improving rural accessibility to education resource centres&rdquo;, elaborated Ms. Mogorosi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"orphans: 2; text-align: start; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; color: black;\">A learner from Alpha Primary School recited a poem to the audience titled &ldquo;Learning to Ride a Bicycle&rdquo;, the poem constructed of colourful poetic devices as the student used meaningful simile&rsquo;s to elaborate the analogy between life&rsquo;s challenges and learning how to ride a bicycle. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; color: black;\">The programme concluded with a vote of thanks done by the headmasters at their respective schools, Mr Swartz (Veritas Secondary School) and Mrs Bitterbosch (Alpha Primary School).
