Meat inspectors assigned by the department at registered outlets ensure that no meat or products harmful to human health enters the food chain.<\/p>\n<p>The department is also urging communities not to slaughter\u00a0 and consume meat or milk from sick animals.\u00a0 By adhering to the department\u2019s advise, the community will contribute in insuring that they do not contract preventable food borne diseases.
