The launch will be in Kuruman in the John Taolo District on the 16-17 April 2012.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The aim of launching the association in the province is to expose farmers to all holistic approach to the African Poultry Industry.\u00a0 It also seeks to provide an opportunity to all aspects of the local sector- this includes the poultry breeds, equipments, remedies, feeds and expose them\u00a0 to the potential markets. Above all to give them more information regarding the poultry industry.<\/p>\n<p>The Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural development\u2019s MEC, Mr Norman Shushu will deliver a keynote address. With this launch, the department has an objective of assisting emerging farmers to graduate and become commercial farmers of which poultry is not exceptional. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Therefore a structure of this magnitude in the province will create a successful platform for information sharing ,which will assist the department to achieve its objectives. It will also assist to strengthen support to small and medium scale farmers in\u00a0 improving agricultural production.
