KAMFERSDAM’S WATERBIRD MORTALITIES LABORATORY RESULTS RELEASED.
The Department of Agriculture, Environmental Affairs, Land Reform and Rural Development has received the laboratory results of the tissue samples which were collected following waterbird mortalities at Kamfersdam.

As part of the back to school campaign, MEC Mase Manopole visited Tshireleco Senior Secondary School in Kimberley today.
MEC Manopole donated school tracksuits to the 2021 matric class, sanitary towels and laboratory equipment.
The school was adopted by the department last year, and so far, it has been assisted with the trimming of grass as well as awareness creation on environmental management and greening of the school.

With the Northern Cape experiencing the highest locust outbreaks this season, MEC for Agriculture, Environmental Affairs, Land Reform and Rural Development, Ms. Mase Manopole, visited several farms near Vosberg, to assess the impact the swam might have caused to emerging farmers in the area.
TODAY the government led by the Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) released water from the Vaal Dam. The release was nescisitated by river flows from the Upper Vaal rapidly filling the Vaal Dam, and the weather forecast which indicated that more rainfalls should be expected in the region. MEC Mase Manopole is calling
