The Northern Cape Department of Education through the Sport Race & Values unit will host the 2013 Provincial Schools Athletics Championship in Kimberley on the following dates.
A. Details of the events are as follows:
1. Event : Provincial Primary Schools Athletics Championship
Date : Saturday, 02 March 2013
Time : 08h00 – 16h00
Venue : De Beers Stadium – Kimberley
2. Event : Provincial High Schools Athletics Championship
Date : Saturday, 09 March 2013
Time : 08h00 – 16h00
Venue : De Beers Stadium – Kimberley
Your unit is requested to assist us with the following to ensure the success of the event.
- Branding (of the NCDOE)
- Setting up and operating the PA systems at the Opening ceremony & nerve centre venues;
- Taking of photos at the event;
- Design & print invitations, accreditation cards and the programs (500) for the event;
- Design & print participating certificates for all participants & schools attending the event.
- Advertizing of the event on the Website and the Electronic Board from Monday, 25/02/2013
Please remember that we set up/prepare the fields a day before the event. We would also like you to attend our LOC meetings to report on the requested responsibilities.
