Comrade Hendrik Visser was laid to rest in his hometown of Springbok on Saturday, 04 June 2011. The Premier of the Northern Cape Mrs. Hazel Jenkins described Comrade Visser as a remarkable man who championed the cause for development, particularly for the poor and downtrodden.
